Who We Are
Mark Hartery has over 30 years experience across a wide range of banking disciplines, the bulk of which were spent within the Lloyds TSB Group and then latterly with Julian Hodge Bank.
In the mid 1990's, his career brought him to Gloucestershire where he has become a well-known figure within the banking industry. At Julian Hodge Bank, he specialised in property development funding working before setting up Bespoke Banking with Martin in 2009.
Mark specialises in providing practical help to businesses of all sizes in their dealings with their Banks. As well as a specialist in property development funding of all types, he provides much needed support to smaller businesses by ensuring that they have the right finance solutions to help their business grow often leading the negotiations with their Banks.
Within Bespoke Banking, Mark uses his extensive contact base not only in Gloucestershire but back into South Wales and along the M4 to cover the Thames Valley, M25 and London.

Martin Day has over 40 years experience in Corporate Banking initially with Lloyds Bank in Bristol and Gloucestershire. Following early retirement from Lloyds, he joined Julian Hodge Bank. During his career he has encountered and dealt with most scenarios but specifically is focused on getting it right and best advice for the client. He majors on restructures, business planning and acting as a sounding board for the clients as well as securing appropriate funding to match the client’s requirements.
Married, he lives in Gloucestershire and covers most areas specifically the Midlands, South Wales and South West England.

Mark Robinson worked for 38 years with Lloyds Banking Group predominantly as a Relationship Director in the Corporate sector. He worked with businesses of all sizes from start ups through SME’s right up to fully listed companies. Mark has significant experience in facilitating banking restructures for entrepreneurs who have diverse banking needs. He can also advise on working capital and growth funding through his contacts in the financial sector including asset based and unsecured funding. Mark has an honours degree in financial services through the University of Manchester and is a member of the Institute of Financial Services. In his spare time Mark follows Gloucester Rugby, is a keen golfer and is treasurer of the Gloucestershire branch of CAMRA.

Greg Warren is based in South Wales, having worked for over 46 years at Lloyds Banking Group primarily with businesses ranging from start ups to £50m turnover entities. Greg is extremely experienced in structuring deals ensuring that clients’ requirements are achieved. He has managed diverse portfolios covering all sectors and has a specialisation in the Manufacturing Sector having achieved a Manufacturing accreditation from Warwick University during his time with Lloyds.
Greg is very keen to support SME’s both strategically and also with their day to day banking requirements. In his spare time Greg enjoys all sport, travel and reading.
